Who can book the Saudi Arabia Quarantine hotels?

Any customer with  a confirmed Etihad Airways flight ticket can book an Etihad Holidays Institutional Quarantine package to Saudi Arabia.

How do I book a quarantine hotel?

You can book directly with Etihad Holidays:

• Step 1: Complete a request form:

o   Trade request form

• Step 2: Send the request form to support@etihadholidays.com with the subject line: Institutional Quarantine Packages - Saudi Arabia

• Step 3: A representative from our team will contact you via phone or email within 24 hours

Bookings can only be made 72 hours or more before your  customer's intended travel date to Saudi Arabia. Bookings cannot be accepted within 72 hours of travel.

For group booking, please email to support@etihadholidays.com with subject line “Group Institutional Quarantine Packages - Saudi Arabia”. A representative from our team will revert back within 3 working days on the group proposal. Travel date for group booking should have a lead time of 15 days before departure date to Saudi Arabia.

Do my customers need to have a COVID-19 PCR test to travel?

Yes, they must have a COVID-19 PCR test before travelling on any Etihad Airways flight. Please visit etihad.com/destinationguide to check the latest testing and entry requirements regarding flights to Saudi Arabia.

What is included with a quarantine hotel booking with Etihad Holidays?

The booking includes:

• One-way transfer on arrival to Saudi Arabia from the airport to your customer's hotel
• Seven nights hotel accommodation
• Full board, including three meals per day
• A COVID-19 PCR test within 24 hours of your customer's arrival
• A second COVID-19 PCR test on day seven of your customer's  arrival

As long as your customer's second COVID-19 PCR test is negative, he/she will  be free to continue his/her journey.

Can they share a room?

Only immediate family and carers for those with special needs or the elderly are allowed to share a quarantine hotel room. All other guests must book their own room. 

We can accept both EMD as well as credit card form of payment.

Hotel cancellation policy must be adhered as per booking conditions at the time of booking, only exceptions:

• Positive Covid test – Hotel cancellation will be accepted if a positive Covid test result is provided prior to departure. Etihad holidays will offer rebooking option. No refund will be provided.

• Flight reschedule/cancellation – Hotel cancellation will be accepted. Etihad holidays will offer rebooking option. No refund will be provided.

All bookings are non-refundable and non-amendable, except in the following circumstances:

• Your customer receives a positive COVID-19 PCR test before his/her flight: On receipt of official documentation of proof, amendments to the booking can be made without any service charges provided the booked hotel has availability for the revised dates. Additional charges may apply if the existing hotel is unavailable and he/she is required to book an alternative hotel. No refund will be provided.

• Your customer's flight has been rescheduled or cancelled by Etihad: Amendments to the booking can be made without any service charges provided the booked hotel has availability for the revised dates. Additional charges may apply if the existing hotel is unavailable and he/she are required to book an alternate hotel. No refund will be provided

Your customer must email his/her request for amendment or cancellation, along with proof of your positive test to support@etihadholidays.com before he/she is due to travel to Saudi Arabia by 24 hours.
