The wellness of our guests, teams and partners remains paramount as we continue to keep the world connected as safely as possible. That’s why we only choose negative guests. We're the only airline in the world to make COVID-19 testing mandatory before every flight. Since August 2020, 100% of our guests have tested negative before they fly.
On board with us
We ask all guests to wear masks on board. Our team will wear face masks and personal protective equipment at all times and our aircraft are equipped with HEPA air filters which capture 99% of airborne microbes.

Because we want guests to feel comfortable and cared for when they travel with us, our specially trained team of Wellness Ambassadors are on hand 24/7 to answer your questions and share advice. Chat to our Wellness Ambassadors online, find them at the airport or speak to them on board.
Keeping guests protected
We’ve extended our COVID-19 global wellness insurance to keep guests protected when they’re away from home. Our cover is included with every Etihad Airways ticket for travel up to 31 March 2021, so wherever your guests are flying to, they can travel there with confidence.
Your wellness, our priority

Keeping the world connected
This winter, we’re flying to up to 60 destinations across the world. Our network covers Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, and we hope to add even more destinations as travel restrictions begin to ease. Remember, Abu Dhabi is open to tourists without quarantine from select destinations. Guests travelling to other emirates can land in Abu Dhabi and go directly to Dubai or any other northern emirate without having to quarantine.
