COVID-19 PCR testing is mandatory before every Etihad Airways flight to give your customers the confidence to travel the world again; they’ll feel safe knowing that everyone on board has tested negative for COVID-19.

Depending on the regulations at their final destination, children and infants may be exempt from COVID-19 PCR testing. Always check in advance.

If your customer tests positive or is unable to present proof of their negative COVID-19 PCR test, they will not be permitted to travel. They can rearrange their flight for free or cancel and use the value towards their next trip with Etihad Credit.

COVID-19 PCR testing included from Abu Dhabi

COVID-19 PCR testing is included for all guests when they book and fly with Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi between 1 October and 31 March 2021, excluding flights to China.

ICA approval is no longer required for UAE residents

UAE residents returning to Abu Dhabi must visit uaeentry.ica.gov.ae to verify their UAE entry status before travel.
