Dear Trade Partner,

We’re committed to keeping the world connected safely, and we’re pleased to be extending our network this winter.

We’re flying to over 60 destinations this winter

From now until 31 March 2021, we’ll be flying to over 60 destinations across the world. Our network covers Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America, and we hope to add even more destinations as travel restrictions begin to ease.

Up-to-date travel regulations

Travel regulations are changing daily around the world. To make sure that you and your guests stay up to date with all the latest information, we’ve developed a comprehensive travel guide.

Please make sure that your guests visit etihad.com/destinationguide to understand all requirements before their trip, including COVID-19 PCR testing and other mandatory quarantine regulations. This will make sure that they are fit to fly when they arrive at the airport.

COVID-19 PCR testing is mandatory

All guests must have a COVID-19 PCR test before travelling on any Etihad Airways flight. Tests can be carried out at any government accredited medical facility. Depending on where your guest is flying to or from, the test must be carried out between 48 and 96 hours before their flight departure time.

There are also a number of country-specific regulations that guests need to be aware of, including the requirement of antibody testing.

Protection and peace of mind with COVID-19 insurance

Our COVID-19 global wellness insurance cover is just one of the ways we promise to keep you protected with Etihad Wellness. Our cover is included with every Etihad Airways ticket travelling until the end of the year. So wherever you’re guests are flying to, they can travel there with confidence.

Wellness continues to be our main priority

The wellbeing of our guests, teams and partners will always be our main priority. That’s why we launched Etihad Wellness earlier this year, a wellbeing initiative that includes additional deep-cleaning and sanitization, a dedicated team of specially-trained Wellness Ambassadors and complimentary Wellness Kits for all guests on board.

Whether your guests are flying in Economy, Business or First, we’ll make sure that they feel safe, comfortable and protected at every step of their journey.

We’re immensely proud that in August and September, our guests acknowledged our wellness initiatives with a satisfaction rating of 93%.

Flexible travel policies

Unlimited date changes are permitted on all new flights booked before 31 December 2020.

From 1 October 2020 refunds are permitted for all future bookings with an original travel date on or after 1 October 2020, where any of the flights on the booking have been cancelled.

If a guest tests positive following their COVID-19 PCR test or where travel is restricted by government regulations and the guest is unable to travel, they are also entitled to a full refund.

Let’s keep guests informed – my hot topic

So that we can make sure that everyone is up to date with our latest travel regulations and flight schedules, it’s really important that we have the correct contact details for every guest. We still have too many bookings that do not include sufficient contact information, meaning that we can’t advise guests of important updates before their flight.

Please help us by making sure you’ve included all contact information for your customers before they travel.

We want to hear from you!

We understand how important it is to work together right now. That’s why if you have any ideas, feedback or suggestions, we want to hear from you!

Get in touch

As always, your commitment to Etihad does not go unnoticed. From all of us at Etihad, thank you for continuing to be an important part of our business.
