We’re trialing the IATA Travel Pass app. This will help speed up the check-in process for your customers travelling from Abu Dhabi to the USA or Canada.

The IATA Travel Pass app trial

We have partnered with IATA to trial a new app for PCR test results. The IATA Travel Pass app securely processes PCR tests from participating labs in Abu Dhabi and stores the result securely on a phone. The results can then be validated against travel rules and presented in the app at check-in, speeding up and simplifying the check-in process at the airport for your customers travelling to North America.

We’ve invited our guests to use the IATA Travel Pass app and request that you share the details with your customers so they can benefit.

As a small thank you, we’re also providing 90mb of free Wi-Fi on board for all guests who present their results on their IATA Travel Pass App when they check in, and fast-track access with select clinics.

Getting started

IATA Travel Pass can be downloaded from the App Store with the activation code 123412 and following the on-screen instructions to register.

Currently the global trial is only available on IOS devices and for tests taken at participating clinics in Abu Dhabi. We expect this to be extended to Android devices in the future.

Your customers can use IATA Travel Pass for tests taken in Abu Dhabi on flights to North America for travel up to 30 June 2021.
