Abu Dhabi is open to tourists without quarantine from select destinations. If guests have been in or transited through South Africa or Nigeria in the last 14 days they are unable to enter the UAE at this time. This does not apply to diplomats or UAE citizens.
Effective 24 June 2021, there’s no quarantine for guests travelling on a direct flight to Abu Dhabi from any of the countries below.
Travel corridors
If guests have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, they will not be required to quarantine when they travel between the UAE and:
Arriving from other destinations
All other guests arriving from other destinations will be required to self-isolate at home or their hotel for 10 days and wear a medically approved wristband when they arrive in Abu Dhabi. Guests travelling from a country deemed high-risk by the UAE authorities may be subject to quarantine in a government facility.
Guests will be exempt from having to wear the wristband if they:
Tourist visas issued in Dubai or other emirates will be accepted if they originate from a green country. Read more.
