We’re making it simpler for people to travel on short breaks and business trips with Etihad Airways.

For trips less than 72 hours, valid PCR tests taken in the UAE can now be used for return journeys too. That means there’s no need to take another PCR test before flying back to Abu Dhabi.

Here's everything you need to know:

• The PCR certificate must be issued in the UAE
• The certificate will be valid for 72 hours from the time of the result

Guests should always check the latest travel regulations before they fly for up to date testing and entry information.

Keeping everyone protected with COVID-19 testing

COVID-19 PCR testing is mandatory before every Etihad Airways flight. Guests will feel safe knowing that everyone flying with us has tested negative for COVID-19.

A test is required 48 or 72 hours before the flight departure time depending on the guest's final destination. Full regulations can be found at etihad.com/destinationguide. These change regularly so we recommend that guests check before they fly.
