Effective 5 December 2020, we will recommence one-way services from Abu Dhabi to Chengdu and from Beijing to Abu Dhabi. Both services will operate weekly on a Boeing 787 with Economy and Business cabins.
Services from Abu Dhabi to Chengdu are only available for UAE nationals and UAE residents who have an Abu Dhabi issued visa. Schedule*:

COVID-19 PCR and antibody testing For peace of mind and protection, COVID-19 PCR testing is mandatory before every flight with Etihad Airways. Guests travelling to China from Abu Dhabi will also require a COVID-19 antibody blood test (SARS-CoV-2 lgM antibodies test). All tests must be taken no earlier than 48 hours before their flight from an approved clinic. A list of approved clinics can be found at etihad.com/destinationguide.
