Dear Trade Partner,

Our summer schedule is well underway, and we are doing our best to keep the world connected. As borders start to open, we’re expanding our network, and we want to make sure that you’re the first to know about our updates.

Our network in August

As our network continues to grow, guests can now fly to and from Abu Dhabi or transfer to over 55 destinations across Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Visit etihadhub.com to stay up to date or find our latest network map.

Travelling to Abu Dhabi

Guests are only permitted to enter Abu Dhabi if they are a UAE national or resident with a valid visa. It is compulsory for guests to have ICA approval and a negative COVID-19 PCR test result – they will not be permitted to fly otherwise.

The COVID-19 PCR test must be carried out at an ICA-approved medical facility within 72 hours of their trip. You’ll find a growing list of approved medical facilities at purehealth.ae.

If there are no testing facilities at their point of departure, or a guest tests positive, they will not be permitted to travel. If that’s the case, guests can rearrange their flight for free, or cancel and use the value of their flight towards their next trip with Etihad Credit.

Important information guests must know before they fly

It’s important that you direct guests to follow the travel regulations that are in place around the world. These will help to keep guests protected and limit the spread of COVID-19, and make sure that their travel plans are not disrupted.

Depending on where they are flying to, guests may be required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test before they fly to other destinations around the world – they may not be permitted to board their flight otherwise. Guests should always check before they travel at Etihad Destination Guide.

To make arranging a COVID-19 PCR test in the UAE simple, we’ve teamed up with Mediclinic. Guests can visit Mediclinic.ae to book a test at any Mediclinic facility and they’ll receive their results within 24 hours – they can even arrange to be tested at home. The service is available for all guests flying from Abu Dhabi, including guests travelling from another emirate to reach Abu Dhabi airport.

Let’s keep everyone informed

Now as we start to return to a fuller flight schedule, it’s more important than ever that we’re able to stay in touch with guests and communicate with them in a timely and consistent manner.

We have a responsibility to work together to make sure this happens. We need you, our trade partner, to provide up-to-date and correct contact details for everyone who books with us. Without it, guests are not receiving the important travel information they need at this time.

Let’s work together to ensure we give our customers the best experience possible.

Thanks for your support.

Kind regards,
